Pantone Color of the Year 2011 - Honeysuckle

The Pantone "Color of the Year" announcements excite me. I'm pretty sure I should have been a graphic artist except for the fact I have no artistic talent, but I do love colors.

I think the art and science of colors and their use, especially in media is fascinating, so I love it when the "Pantone color of the year" is revealed. Pantone is the founder of the standards of color communication.

The 2011 Pantone Color of the Year is "honeysuckle". It's really a pretty reddish-pink, and I love the description: "Honeysuckle emboldens us to face everyday troubles with verve and vigor."

I need some of that.

I was taught by nuns for most of my life, and I think I may actually know a couple of them in this calendar.

The pictures are happy, and the 2011 Nuns Having Fun Calendar would make a great Christmas or holiday gift.
